Dates: March 5-12, 2011
Destination: Fargo, North Dakota
Who: College Students
Mission: Seek to engage the community, develop friendships, share the Gospel, and invite new friends to a Sojourn Bible study. This trip involves a strong element of servant evangelism.
Cost: $250.00
Fact: The area population of Fargo is 200,000 with only 3 Southern Baptist churches (The largest has 60 members). Warren County has a population of 109,000 people and has 49 SBC churches.

Destination: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Who: Adults, Families (children 1st grade & up)
Mission: Provide BYBC, youth camp and upgrade facilities for children and youth at Tenn. Baptist Homes for Children. Light construction, painting, landscape, and cleaning at facility and in the community. Light cooking crew needed.
Cost: $600.00 per 2 people in same room
$100.00 for each additional person in the same room
Fact: There are over 400,000 children currently in foster or orphan care in the United States.

Who: High School Students and Leaders
Mission: Provide a Back Yard Bible Club for Cool River Church. The team will make efforts to reach out to the families in the area in order to share the love of Jesus.
Cost: $500.00
Fact: Superior, Colorado has 13,000 people and only one church.

Mission: Provide a construction team to continue working on Project Abrahams facilities. This organization reaches out to children and youth trapped in poverty and seeks to help them break out of the destructive cycles found in their community and realize the love they have from Christ.
Cost: $1250.00 Members, $1500.00 Non-Members
Fact: Four out of every ten people living in poverty in Costa Rica are children twelve years old or younger.

Who: Women
Mission: Engage Japanese women and their families for Christ. The team will develop relationships through the use of creative ministries and share the Gospel with those involved in the groups. We will partner with IMB missionaries in Tokyo.
Cost: $1500.00 Members; $2000.00 Non-Members
Fact: The Japanese are the largest unevangelized people group in the world. Only one out of every 200 Japanese is a believer. This means less than 1% of Japan’s 127 million people know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Who: Adults
Mission: Go into a village with no church and seek to grow the kingdom of God. The team will have evangelistic conversations with all they will meet. The desire is to make believers and help them establish a church.

Fact: Out of 3.5 million Songhai, there are less than 300 believers.

Mission: To engage the French in the Massif Central region during a Bluegrass Music Festival. This engagement will be by distribution of Gospel tracts, survey work, conversations, and maybe even a band from our church.
Cost: $1500.00 Members; $2000.00 Non-Members
Fact: Most in France follow the tradition of laicite. This means that the culture tolerates any religion as long as it remains hidden behind the veil of an individual’s private life.

Mission: While hiking through the foothills of the Himalayas, the team will share the Good News of Jesus to all who will listen. This team needs to be physically fit and able to hike 5 miles a day in high altitudes.

Fact: In South Asia, there is one missionary for every 6 million people.

Mission: Due to security, we will travel as tourists to a country that is closed to the Gospel. While there, the team will look for ways to share our faith and obtain valuable information about the country for our International Missions Board (IMB).

Fact: There are no protestant churches or missionaries for this country with a population close to 6 million.

Mission: Due to security, we will travel as tourists to a country that is closed to the Gospel. While there, the team will provide English Corners and share our faith on a university campus.

Fact: The Communist Party teaches that there is no god. University students are often open to the Gospel as they reach adulthood and search for meaning in their life.
